About being lost in this little weird world we are living in.

Man was shot on location, the clouds i shoot on a trip to turkey and was added to the original image to give a more dramatic sky.

The "head" was shoot inside an empty suit and then added on the man in the suit.

I forgot to pack the reflector so the shadow got really harsh,,,but iv grown to like that look anyway

Nikon dslr.

In my humble opinion, the composition would be better with less cropping at the top, more sky, to make the man in a vertically centered position. Other detail, not that important, would be a bigger border, in white, but this is my taste...

texel: you are probably right about the crop, perhaps more air over the head would be better

the frame was just a quick thing for the web...the print has a 10mm white frame.

the sun was at its highest and that is why he doesnt have a shadow in the grass.

huh? at its highest as in midday? but the light is coming at him very strongly from the side, which is why half of him is bathed in shadow.
so shouldnt he be casting a long shadow to the right?

or just tell me, is the guy actually there? or did you "manip" him in?
if you maniped him, i stand by my point.
if not, i silently step off my pedestal.

nop as i said, its shot on location,,,here is a link to one of the test shoots, as you can see the face is hidden in shadows,,,but no shadow on grass.

Very clean pic with clear colours. I like the abstract feel that head gives to the pic.

The horizont looks blurred, the rest is great.
